Miss America has settled into Mohegan Sun as its home venue, with the organizations announcing in April that they had reached a three-year deal.
While this year’s final competition will air live on Peacock on Dec. 16, the preliminaries start on Sunday, and there’s plenty to see from then through next Thursday.
And it’s a landmark year: This is the 100th anniversary Miss America pageant.
Fifty-one young women will take part in the competition, and, according to Miss America info, “the show will highlight their unique personal stories, while featuring them as role models and community leaders of tomorrow.”
